Snow days

This was last week. An amazing couple of days with the most captivating smiles. We thought we would brighten it up with Guide fun too. Bear and I take safety seriously., so safely we traveled uptown as the snow melted. Rain, snow, or sun, we are always in the mood for fun! Great adventure day at Sedona Segway Tours

Its just a simple process...

We hear this all the time when we ride past people in uptown. It's understandable, but very wrong! Riding a Segway is as easy as standing up!

Santa Clutz...

Just because he is Santa, doesn't mean we don't have to keep an eye on him while he rides his Segway. Even the most skilled riders can get a little too confident and bring out their cockiness and find themselves sitting on their back side. That is why we teach the skills repeatedly during training and especially during the tour!

Keep your Santa safe! Teach them safety repeatedly until it becomes routine.

Sometimes we really do appreciate Santa...

Even during the rush of the pre-holiday season, we can still see signs of the jolly 'ol man in his prep for the big day. Now...what if he was stylin and glidin around on his Segway (yes...we have reports that he rides a Segway!) delivering presents to all the good little boys and girls all over the world.

So...

We were able to catch a glimpse of him the other day as he cruised by on his bow-dressed Segway. Check out Santa folks!

I would love as much as I could, each being that enters my space. Show gratitude for all and everything and ensure I told all those close to me how much I love them.

Then I'd have a pint of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream (Pistachio) and a huge grocery bag of my home made popcorn and make love to my sweetheart for one last time...over and over!

Sedona Sunsets are ridiculous...

As we spend each day in the glory of this land, we are blessed with a unique "sunset" each day...twice a day. How is that possible? Simple...if you are here for sunrise, the Red Rocks explode first thing in the morning with vibrant fire-like colors on the East facing walls. Then, during the evening, the West facing walls light up with golden hues and again, the fire-like colors. So yes...we are VERY spoiled!

Survivors...

Life is so small when you get right down to it. We, as a society, believe that we have so much and will lose so much when we die. Truth is...there is nothing more important than being happy, loving and living!

As we provide tours every day to hundreds of people and thousands each year, we can sometimes overlook the individual successes that life has brought to some of our Segway 'friends'. One in particular, just two days ago, brought us fond, and hard memories of our own loved ones' fight for life against cancer.

Our friend Jackie, from the UK, came to us for an experience of a lifetime and then shared her 24 year survival battle with Breast Cancer and we were all floored! We ended up being the ones receiving the grandest of gifts!

We honor and cherish our moment with YOU Jackie!
