There are days when you want keep track of what you ask for. Yesterday, I mentioned that I hadn't seen a Roadrunner in some time and that I didn't think they'd be out with our temps being so unseasonably chilly. Well, wouldn't ya know it...as I was processing our second batch of Compost Tea, this little guy (not really that small) presented me his manners and his desire to feed off the nice insects on the other side of the fence.
Fact: Male and Female Roadrunners look alike. The male tends to have a taller "hairdo".
Additional Fact: They can run over 25 mph! BEEP-BEEP!!!
In his travels over the years, Bear has created a unique sound that reverberates through the canyons and walls of the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona. With his Navajo (Dine') hand made flutes, he shares his passions through his music.
He has provided a special for us here at Sedona Segway Tours for anyone that rides with us to purchase any of his CDs for just $9.99/ea. He has a collection of 6 CDs to choose from:
Sounds of Sedona
Flute of the Canyons
Walking the Red Road
So... This is how Peaches and I are rolling today at Sedona Segway tours. Bear and Charlie clearly have the tours covered, so we are holding down the fort.. This morning we worked on our Segway track, which included playing in the dirt, rearranging rocks and of course a little paint.. The track wouldn't be complete without paint... 🔁🔀
Also, while we have been booking tours we have also managed to read Dr. Seuss's One fish two fish red fish blue fish, and Fox in Socks.. Ill say this has been a great day of Play..
Wait!?...... What? I mean a great day of work....
.. Remember if you Love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life!
As we treat people daily to a memorable ride, some of them feel an inner strength that surpasses the actual tour. Henry gave us moments for US to remember as he showed his friends; Nancy and Mike that he CAN ride! Henry...we are honored to have broken the mold for you. Keep on riding my friend!
At least a 13 point buck (he had one or two broken points).
Funny thing was, we were riding our Segways along Van Deren Rd in uptown and as soon as we turned up Schnebly Rd, this monster buck was walking the road. That's right...he was walking the road to Lazy Bear Estates (yes...I clearly recognize the pun!). So we headed to see if we could get a pic or vid. Sure enough as we got to the intersection of LZE's, he was "hiding" behind a tree (he was twice the width of the tree). He gave me a face-to-face for a minute, and then posed perfectly for this shot. Sadly, my camera is not that good, otherwise, this would be much easier to see.
My guests had just seen two Javelina's up close and thought the tour was fantastic. Then to end a perfect Sunset Tour, we got to see this magnificent creature just minutes away from our office!
Our youngest guest today shares a special namesake with our beloved Sedona Arabella Schnebly (Miller).
This young rider (positioned at the far left) surprised us all when she came in and announced her name. Her grandmother even confirmed that her maiden name is Miller! How insanely wonderful is that?!?!?!
Just a few moments from our recent tours here in Sedona. Some show up with skills, others show up with courage. One thing they all get when they are done; one heck of an experience!
Today's moments brought challenges by a few souls who had to practice "letting go". The internal workings of our brains provide us with gobs of blockages that envelop us with walls that require some serious efforts to break down in order to "look forward". Its a glorious thing to enlighten people simply by teaching them how to ride a Segway! Hooraaaaayyyy for all of you!
Lovely time with Swetha and Navneeth! Amazing guests and great smiles! Swetha decided to do a special package for her Love on their 1 year anniversary. Yes the rose is for him. She loves her husband and wanted to share her special day with us guiding them around Sedona.. Bear was the best guide for this day. All fun & Sun!
This is how we roll! This is what we Love! And this is called a job! ..lol #welovewhatwedo

As we were gliding around the streets of Sedona, we come across gazillion different concepts of beauty. From the landscape, to the smiles on our neighbors, to the colors of the flowers or birds. But yesterday, I was blessed by finding this Century Edition Indian motorcycle while cruising through Tlaquepaque's "North" end outside The Pump House restaurant that set me back a bit so I had to go check it out.
